Blossoms in Harmony: The Art of Floral Arrangement

Open to all interested participants, with each team consisting of two contestants. Participants will have 45 minutes to complete their arrangements using only natural flowers, as artificial flowers are strictly prohibited. The university will provide 5 types of foliage and 10 types of flowers, from which each team must select 2 varieties of foliage and 3 varieties of flowers. Additionally, all necessary materials, including oasis, chicken wire, adhesive clay, tape, prongs, florist scissors, a mister, wire and wire cutters, a knife, a pin holder, and decorative accessories such as ribbons, glitter, candles, painted wire, and pebbles, will be supplied. Teams must work independently without external assistance, and any violation of the rules will result in disqualification.

  • Guidelines
  1. The competition is open to all interested participants.
  2. Each team will consist of two contestants.
  3. Participants are not allowed to bring their own materials. All necessary materials will be provided by the university.
  4. The time limit for the competition will be 45 minutes.
  5. Participants must complete their arrangements within the allotted time.
  6. Only natural flowers are to be used. Artificial flowers are not allowed.
  7. 5 types of foliage and 10 types of flowers will be provided.
  8. Each team must choose 2 varieties of foliage and 3 varieties of flowers from the available selection.
  9. The university will provide the following materials including flowers and foliage:

  • Any team violating the rules will be disqualified.
  •  Judging Criteria

Participants will be judged based on the following factors:

  1. Creativity – Uniqueness and originality of the arrangement.
  2. Stay – Stability and durability of the arrangement.
  3. Quality of the Finished Arrangement – Overall aesthetics and presentation.
