1. INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the Mock Stock Competition, where strategy meets opportunity! Step into the exhilarating world of stock trading and experience the thrill of the markets without any real financial risk. This competition is designed to test the analytical skills, market understanding, and decision-making abilities of the participants.
Goal:
To build the most valuable portfolio and prove your financial acumen in a dynamic, time-bound challenge.
2. RULES & GUIDELINES
2.1 Initial Portfolio & Trading Rules
- Each participant will receive ₹10,00,000 (virtual currency) to trade.
- Only equity trading is allowed.
- Futures, options, and short selling are NOT allowed.
- Trading is restricted to NSE 500 stocks only.
- Trading will be conducted via a designated platform/simulator.
2.2 Competition Format
- Participants can buy and sell stocks based on real-time or simulated market conditions.
- The competition will run within a predefined time limit (12:00 PM – 3:00 PM on 2nd May 2025).
- Portfolio value will be evaluated based on total value and percentage gain.
2.3 Trading Process
- Trading is allowed only during the specified market hours (12 PM – 3 PM).
- Orders (buy/sell) must be placed as per the simulator’s interface.
- Transaction fees or brokerage charges (if applicable) will be predefined.
2.4 Winning Criteria
The participant with the highest portfolio value at the end of the competition will be declared the winner.
3. ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION
- Open to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Only individual participation is allowed (no teams).
- All participants must register before the deadline.
